Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center website redesign
A few of the problems:
— The content, design, and user flow of the website was confusing for customers. It was unclear from the homepage what Renaissance's primary offering is: business classes.
— It was challenging for customers to find and select business classes appropriate to their skill level and needs.
— Many of the photographs and icons were poor quality, did not support the written content, or the files were too large, making the site load slowly; the slide carousels made a made poor user experience.
A few of the solutions:
— Improved user flow and content architecture; added more graphic and actionable elements; added prominent 'See Classes' and 'See Services' buttons to home page.
— Created an event feed from a calendar that can be displayed on any page; made a page that categorizes classes in event feed groups to help people find and enroll in classes that meet their needs.
— Replaced and batch-resized photographs and icons; removed slide carousel.
